The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has reported that 15 companies are currently preparing to conduct Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).

I Gede Nyoman Yetna, Director of Company Valuation at the IDX, explained that while the pipeline covers a diverse range of sectors, the majority originate from the consumer cyclical sector, followed by the infrastructure sector.

However, based on the potential funds to be raised or the issuance value, Nyoman noted that there is one large-scale company within the entertainment sector. He specified that this company operates a zoo.

“It is not a production house, but rather something that can be enjoyed and provides education for children. There is a zoo that can be tangibly experienced,” he said when met at the IDX Building on Tuesday (19/05/2026).

“This means the current trend involves large and medium-sized companies. However, this does not mean that smaller companies are not interested,” Nyoman added.

As of May 2026, only one company has listed on the Indonesian stock market, which is PT BSA Logistics Indonesia Tbk (WBSA) on 10 April 2026. The issuer, which operates in the transport and logistics sector, was the first to hold an IPO in 2026, and so far, no additional new issuers have entered the capital market.
