Zigzag Car Convoy on the Becakayu Toll Road, Police Trace Vehicle Owners

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - A number of vehicles forming a convoy performed zig-zag maneuvers on the Becakayu Toll Road (Bekasi–Cawang–Kampung Melayu).

In a video uploaded by the Instagram account jakarta_siders, several cars were seen zig-zagging amid relatively quiet road conditions.

The narration in the video stated that although traffic appeared light, the actions could still be dangerous in the event of an accident.

The Head of the Road Patrol Unit (Kasat PJR) of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Reiki, confirmed the incident.

Police are currently tracing the vehicles involved in the action.

“For now, we are tracing the whereabouts according to the address and we will visit if it matches the address listed on the STNK,” Reiki said when contacted by Kompas.com, Thursday (5/3/2026).

Officers will issue a warning to ensure that they do not again perform maneuvers that could endanger other road users who intend to overtake,” he said.
