Zero Revenue, Coal Issuer (COAL) Posts Rp8.2 Billion Loss
Jakarta - Coal issuer PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (COAL) reversed into a loss in the first quarter of 2026 after failing to book any operating revenue during the period. Referring to the latest financial report cited from the IDX’s public disclosure, the loss attributable to owners of the parent company as of March 2026 was recorded at Rp8.23 billion. In the same period the previous year, COAL still posted a net profit of Rp5.35 billion. The deterioration in performance coincided with the disappearance of the company’s operating revenue. In Q1 2026, COAL recorded revenue of Rp0, down from Rp126.52 billion in Q1 2025. In line with the absence of sales, the company also recorded no gross profit in Q1 2026, whereas in the same period the previous year, COAL still posted a gross profit of Rp19.74 billion. On the cash flow side, the company recorded a negative operating cash flow of Rp13.79 billion during Q1 2026. In terms of capital, COAL’s cash and cash equivalents as of March 2026 were recorded at Rp233 million, a significant drop from the end of 2025 position which still reached Rp14.29 billion. As for liabilities, the company still has short-term bank debt of Rp195 billion. On the asset side, COAL recorded a value of Rp824.79 billion. COAL’s shares are currently suspended by the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In the last trading session, COAL’s shares were at Rp22 per share.
