Zendhy Kusuma Reveals Why He Entered the Kitchen at Bibi Kelinci Restaurant and Lost His Temper

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Guitarist Zendhy Kusuma explains why he entered the kitchen of Bibi Kelinci restaurant in September 2025. He did so to ensure that the long-awaited food order was being processed properly. ‘I then entered the kitchen area to verify directly whether our order had been prepared or not. At that time I was not prevented from entering,’ Zendhy said in a clarification video posted to his personal Instagram account on Sunday (8 March 2026). ‘We then ordered food and drinks as customers normally would. However, after a long wait, our order did not arrive,’ Zendhy added. Although he asked the waitstaff several times, the information received varied. ‘Some said the restaurant was busy, while others said the food would be ready in a few minutes,’ he said. Because they had waited almost two hours without any certainty, Zendhy eventually went into the kitchen. Upon reaching the kitchen, it turned out the order had not yet been prepared and would only be processed at that moment. The situation left him disappointed because there had been no certainty from the start about the order that had been awaited for so long. After the food was finally served, some orders were given in a rushed and incomplete manner. According to CCTV footage, Zendhy and his wife were seen shouting at the kitchen staff and striking the fridge. In a state of emotion, Zendhy and his entourage decided to leave the restaurant while carrying the food they had ordered. While in the car, a waiter arrived with a card payment terminal to request payment.
