Zebra gets new director

SURABAYA (JP): The shareholders in publicly-listed transport
firm, PT Zebra Nusantara, appointed Nazimuddin yesterday as the
company's new director, replacing Agnes Gondokusomo who resigned
recently.

Yesterday's meeting also re-elected Pudjianto as company
president.

Nazimuddin's appointment ends speculation that the new
controlling shareholder, PT Infinity Utama, was demanding that
Zebra's president step down.

Infinity Utama, the owner of the PT Steady Safe transport
firm, became the biggest shareholder in PT Zebra after purchasing
34 percent of its total shares through the Surabaya Stock
Exchange last year. (15/08)
