Zainudin, Rhoma to preach

JAKARTA (JP): Well-known Islamic preacher Zainudin M. Z. and the "king" of dangdut music Rhoma Irama are scheduled to deliver sermons at the Idul Fitri communal prayers at the Senayan eastern parking lot on Friday.

The chairman of the Yayasan Kita Idul Fitri Prayer, Bagus Satriyanto, told Antara yesterday that the Senayan prayers will also feature H. Muamar Z.A., one of Indonesia's best qori (Koran reciter) as the imam.

Tens of thousands of Moslems are expected to take part in the prayers, Bagus said. (bas)
