YWWSDC and RTHAE Activities Halted Over Alleged Illegal Crypto Asset Investments
The Illegal Financial Activities Eradication Task Force (Satgas PASTI) has halted the activities of YWWSDC and RTHAE due to indications of illegal digital asset investment violations. Both entities were offering crypto asset investments without obtaining the required permit from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to operate as Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD).
Satgas PASTI discovered that YWWSDX does not possess a PAKD permit from the OJK. Furthermore, the entity’s business activities do not align with its permits from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM. Additionally, the YWWSDC application and website are not registered as Electronic System Providers (PSE) with the Ministry of Communication and Digital.
YWWSDC claims to be part of the YWWSDC Group US Ltd, which is purportedly licensed in Colorado, USA. The platform offers crypto asset trading investment schemes and the purchase of digital financial asset tokens to the public. Satgas PASTI also identified indications of URL changes using different names that maintain a similar appearance, suggesting a link to YWWSDC’s activities.
Meanwhile, RTHAE offers crypto asset investments through the Retail Trader Hosted Automates Engine platform. Their offerings include initial token sales claimed to be listed on the RTHAE exchange, with promises of refunds if the tokens fail to be listed. Verification results show that RTHAE has no legal entity in Indonesia and lacks the necessary PAKD permit. Its business activities were also found to be inconsistent with its permits from the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.
The RTHAE application and website are also not registered as PSE with the Ministry of Communication and Digital. Following these findings, Satgas PASTI has ceased the activities of both entities and blocked access to the related applications and links.
Satgas PASTI is currently coordinating with law enforcement agencies for further legal action. Members of the public who believe they have been harmed are urged to report immediately to local law enforcement. This measure is necessary to accelerate the handling of suspected illegal investment activities that cause public loss.
Satgas PASTI reminds the public to remain vigilant against investment offers promising high and illogical returns, including those claiming to represent foreign companies or stating they are in the process of obtaining OJK permits. Illegal investment offers can be reported via the official Satgas PASTI website or the OJK Contact 157. Reports can also be submitted via WhatsApp at 081157157157 and email at konsumen@ojk.go.id for follow-up.
Victims of financial transaction fraud can also report through the OJK’s Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC). Such reporting helps expedite the blocking of bank accounts suspected of being used by fraudsters.
