Yusril states that the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission has finalised its work outcomes
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra stated that the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission has completed formulating its work outcomes. However, Yusril, a member of the commission, said in Jakarta on Wednesday that the commission is still waiting for the right time for all its members to meet with President Prabowo Subianto. “After it is submitted (to the President), we will then announce to the public what has been formulated by the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission,” he said. He was unable to explain the formulation of the commission’s work outcomes in detail. According to him, the more appropriate parties to convey the results are Jimly Asshiddiqie as chairman or Ahmad Dofiri as vice chairman. “If now, we cannot announce it because it would certainly not be good; we must first submit it to the President, then we announce it,” he said. Previously, President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the membership of the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Friday (7/11/2025). This inauguration was based on Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 122/P of 2025 concerning the Appointment of Membership of the Polri Reform Acceleration Commission. The commission consists of 10 members, led by Jimly Asshiddiqie (chairman兼member) and comprises elements from legal academics, government, and former police leaders.
