The Indonesian National Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri) has officially named YouTuber Muhammad Jannah alias Bigmo and Adimas Firdaus alias Resbob as suspects in a case of alleged defamation against influencer Azizah Salsha. Head of Sub-Directorate I of the Cyber Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri, Commissioner Rizki Agung Prakoso, said the designation of suspects was carried out by investigators through a case review this week. “Yes, they are suspects now, this week there was a case review,” he said in a text message on Thursday (5/3). Rizki added that investigators will soon schedule interviews for Bigmo once his status is upgraded to suspect. “It will be scheduled (for questioning),” he concluded. Previously Azizah Salsha formally reported the owners of two social media accounts to Bareskrim Polri Jakarta on Tuesday (12/8), regarding alleged defamation relating to an affair. The report by Azizah was received and registered with number LP/B/387/VIII/2025/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI, dated 12 August 2025. “Two accounts were reported, the TikTok account @ibaratbradpittt, and another YouTube account @Niceguymo. In those accounts, there are names Muhammad Jannah and Resbobb,” said Azizah’s counsel, Anandya Dipo Pratama, at Bareskrim Polri. “Where there has been defamation whose truth is not certain, here we must give a deterrent effect to society, to be more prudent on social media. Do not spread defamation that is not certain,” he added.
