YouTuber AM's Shocking Confession: Temporary Paralysis After Three Months of Whip Pink Use
Jakarta – The Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Police has revealed a shocking confession from a YouTuber identified as AM (29), who allegedly suffered temporary paralysis after consuming Whip Pink nitrous oxide (N2O) for three months.
AM was interviewed as a witness in the ongoing investigation into the suspected illegal distribution of N2O products, which has recently gained public attention.
Deputy Director of Sub-Directorate III of the Narcotics Crime Directorate, Police Commissioner Zulkarnain Harahap, stated that AM complied with the second summons from investigators on Monday, 25 May 2026.
During questioning, AM admitted first encountering Whip Pink at a nightclub in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area of North Jakarta.
‘It is sold in balloons,’ he said on Friday, 29 May 2026.
Investigators noted that AM then sought information about the product via social media, reportedly developing an addiction. He found an Instagram seller before being directed to place orders via WhatsApp.
‘He had been ordering Whip Pink N2O products for personal consumption from January to March 2026,’ the official added.
However, consumption of the product allegedly caused severe physical issues for AM, requiring intensive hospital treatment in Tangerang.
‘Upon being rushed to hospital, AM lost control of his limbs, particularly his legs, leading to temporary paralysis and a fall down the stairs,’ the statement continued.
Investigators confirmed AM’s condition aligns with expert testimony from the Indonesian Ministry of Health regarding the effects of unmonitored N2O use.
‘Peripheral nerve damage outside the brain, with symptoms of numbness, tingling, and loss of coordination. AM is currently recovering from the suspected severe effects of using Whip Pink N2O,’ the official added.
Bareskrim Police are continuing to investigate the suspected illegal distribution of Whip Pink, including tracing distribution networks and consumers.
