Youths form group to support Susilo

JAKARTA: Hundreds of youths announced on Saturday the establishment of a group called Angkatan Muda Demokrat to support the campaign presidential candidate Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

However, during a ceremony at Balai Sarbini in South Jakarta, the new group's chairman, Yasulipar Sinaga, was unable to provide any details on how the youth group planned to help Susilo and his running mate Jusuf Kalla.

Subur Budisantoso, who chairs the Democratic Party that nominated Susilo, attended the event, which featured a dangdut performance. Neither Susilo nor Kalla were present. --JP.
