Prayer text
Ceremony commemorating the 98th Youth Pledge Day in 2026: “Patriotic, Resilient, Empathetic: Youth for Indonesia”
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
O Allah, Lord Almighty,
With humility, we offer praise and thanks in Your presence for Your mercy and grace, which have enabled us to commemorate the 98th Youth Pledge Day in 2026 today in good health and with a strong spirit of togetherness.
O Allah,
Strengthen the spirit of unity within us, as bequeathed by the young people of 28 October 1928. Make Indonesia’s diversity a source of strength as we work together to build our country.
Guide Indonesia’s young people to become a generation of character and integrity, who are creative, innovative and competitive, and able to make a tangible contribution to society, the nation and the state.
O Allah,
Open opportunities for all Indonesia’s young people to learn, create, achieve and develop their fullest potential. Keep us from division and from everything that could weaken national unity.
Make the spirit of the Youth Pledge a force that enables us to keep moving forward, work together and build an Indonesia that is advanced, peaceful and prosperous.
Our Lord, grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Fire.
Amen, Lord of the worlds.
Peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
