Youth killed in brawl

JAKARTA (JP): One person was killed in a brawl involving youth
mobs in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta yesterday, police reported.

According to the Tanjung Priok police precinct chief, Yusuf
Supardi, 19, was stabbed in the stomach with a sharp instrument.

Jauhari, Supardi's older brother, said that Supardi, together
with three of his friends, was involved in a brawl with a group
of other youths.

Police said the youths are still at large. The police are
looking for a motive for the killing.

As of yesterday, one of Supardi's friends was still
hospitalized at the Cipto Mangunkusumo Central Hospital, with a
serious wound in the neck. (01)
