Youth center to be renovated

JAKARTA (JP): The Sumantri Brodjonegoro youth center in
Kuningan, South Jakarta, will be renovated by PT Bakrie
Investindo. After the renovation is completed the center will
function not only as a youth center, but also a recreation
center.

Franky Rumambi, manager of the company, said that the
renovation is aimed at making the center be of greater use.

He said the renovation work will be finished in about five
months, reported Antara on Friday.

Franky said when the renovation is finished, about 12,000 of
the total 14,000 square meters of the center will be leased to
business people for various purposes such as food stalls and
recreational facilities.

He said the new center will open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. but he
refused to divulge the total cost of the renovation work. (mas)
