Younger Brother of Tulungagung Regent Caught in KPK Sting Operation

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) apprehended PDI Perjuangan politician Jatmiko Dwi Seputro in a handcatch operation (OTT) related to a case implicating Tulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo. Jatmiko, who is the younger brother of Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo, has been taken to the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta along with several other parties. Erma Susanti, Chair of the PDI Perjuangan Tulungagung District Executive Board, when contacted by media on Saturday, confirmed that a party cadre had been secured by KPK investigators. “Yes, for now we respect and monitor the process at the KPK,” said Erma when contacted by telephone. Jatmiko is known to be a member of the Tulungagung DPRD for the 2024–2029 period. He was secured along with 12 officials from the Tulungagung Regency Government, including Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo. However, Jatmiko’s role in the construction of the case is not yet known for certain.
