Young woman found dead in Kebayoran Baru guesthouse with head injuries

A young woman in her twenties, identified as L, was found dead in a room at a guesthouse in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Friday (29 May 2026) afternoon. Kebayoran Baru Police Chief AKBP Nugrahadi Kusuma said authorities are currently investigating the cause of death. Nugrahadi added that the victim had head injuries when found. The victim’s body has been taken for a forensic examination at Kramat Jati Police Hospital. “Visible head injuries were present, but the cause is still unknown as we await the autopsy results,” he said. Police have not disclosed the specific location of the guesthouse where the victim was found.
