The Central Board of the Ansor Youth Movement (PP GP Ansor) has refreshed its management as part of a strategic effort to strengthen the organisation’s capacity and expand cadres’ contributions in addressing various national challenges. Several young figures from Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) with experience in government, sports, the professional world, and community empowerment have officially joined the new management ranks. The inclusion of these young cadres is seen as part of efforts to bolster organisational consolidation while expanding GP Ansor’s network and role across various strategic national sectors. Some names included in the new management are Aminuddin Ma’ruf, who currently serves as Deputy Head of the Agency for State-Owned Enterprises Oversight, Muhammad Abdul Idris, who is part of the Board of Directors of Persiku Kudus, as well as Agus Herlambang and several other young cadres active in various fields of service. PP GP Ansor General Chairman Addin Jauharudin stated that the management refresh is part of the organisation’s endeavour to continually present the best cadres in overseeing the major agendas of GP Ansor and Nahdlatul Ulama. ‘Ansor must continue to be an organisation that is adaptive to the times. Therefore, we are strengthening the organisational structure with cadres who have capacity, experience, and a track record of service in various fields. They are new energy that will strengthen the organisation’s movement going forward,’ said Addin. According to him, the figures joining the new management are not unfamiliar within the NU environment. Most are cadres who have long been involved in Nahdlatul Ulama’s regeneration tradition and possess relevant experience to support organisational strengthening. ‘They are cadres who have been tested. Some are active in government, the professional world, sports, up to community empowerment. Their presence shows that NU cadres are capable of taking strategic roles in various sectors while remaining committed to serving through the organisation,’ he stated. Addin emphasised that GP Ansor is currently required not only to safeguard Islamic and national values but also to respond to new challenges such as digital transformation, strengthening the people’s economy, human resource development, and increasing the role of youth in national development.
