Young NU Figures Join New GP Ansor Management
The Central Leadership of GP Ansor (PP GP Ansor) has undertaken a management refreshment as part of a strategic step to strengthen organisational capacity and expand the contribution of its members in addressing various national challenges.
A number of young figures from Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) with experience in the government, sports, professional, and community empowerment sectors have officially joined the new management ranks. The inclusion of these young cadres is seen as part of an effort to strengthen organisational consolidation while expanding the network and role of GP Anlar in various national strategic sectors.
Some of the names included in the new management are Aminuddin Ma’ruf, who currently serves as the Deputy Head of the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency; Muhammad Abdul Idris, who is part of the Board of Directors of Persiku Kudus; as well as Agus Herlambang and several other young cadres who have been active in various fields of service.
The General Chairman of PP GP Ansor, Addin Jauharudin, stated that the management refreshment is part of the organisation’s endeavour to continuously present the best cadres to oversee the major agendas of GP Ansor and Nahdlatul Ulama.
“Ansor must continue to be an organisation that is adaptive to the changing times. Therefore, we are strengthening the organisational structure with cadres who possess capacity, experience, and a track record of service in various fields. They are the new energy that will strengthen the organisation’s movement moving forward,” said Addin.
According to him, the figures joining the new management are not strangers within the NU environment. Most are cadres who have long been part of the Nahdlatul Ulama regeneration tradition and possess relevant experience to support the strengthening of the organisation.
“They are proven cadres. Some are active in government, the professional world, sports, and community empowerment. Their presence demonstrates that NU cadres are capable of taking strategic roles in various sectors while remaining committed to serving through the organisation,” he said.
Addin emphasised that GP Ansor is currently not only required to uphold Islamic and national values but must also be able to respond to new challenges such as digital transformation, the strengthening of the community economy, human resource development, and increasing the role of youth in national development.
