Young girl found dead in sack

JAKARTA (JP): A four-year old girl was found dead in a sack by
locals in Cibadak village, Bogor, around 30 kilometers south of
here.

The locals who found her body identified her as Dina, the
third child of Didin, Antara reported Thursday.

Finding Dina's body with bruises around her neck has shocked
locals who were close to the girl.

The PMI Hospital speculated that she had been strangled. They
are examining her to see if she was raped before she was
murdered.

Didin said that on Tuesday Dina said she wanted to visit a
friend, Eti, who lived nearby.

When Dina did not reappear later that evening Didin and local
residents combed the area, but found nothing.

The search, involving a paranormal's help, continued until
Wednesday evening. At 9 p.m. the searchers found Dina's body in a
sack near a local's well.

Police said that the owner of the house near where the girl
was found has been questioned. (sur)
