Young Cadre Riyan Hidayat Nominated as General Chairman of BM PAN

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Young cadre of the National Mandate Party (PAN) and member of the Banten Provincial DPRD, Riyan Hidayat, has nominated himself as a candidate for General Chairman of the Barisan Muda Penegak Amanat Nasional (BM PAN) for the 2026-2031 period. DPW BM PAN Chairman Ismu Zakky stated in Jakarta on Saturday that Riyan represents a young cadre who not only possesses enthusiasm but also consistency in organisational work. “We have gone through many processes together. From organising cadre schools, being part of the national workshop committee, to fighting together in election campaigns. Riyan is a working cadre, not just a discursive one,” Zakky said. He conveyed that his support is based on Hidayat’s track record, leadership capacity, and the long process he has undergone as a young PAN cadre. Zakky said his support is not without basis, but stems from trust in the process they have traversed together. “We believe in the process. There is no reason for me not to accompany Riyan in his step forward as a candidate for General Chairman of BM PAN,” he stated. BM PAN will hold its VII Congress in Anyer, Banten, on 9-11 July 2026. BM PAN aims to champion the values of reform, democracy, and social justice in line with PAN’s ideology and vision and mission.
