Young and Wealthy, Old and Secure: Find Out the Answer Here
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Life insurance is often not regarded as a priority protection, especially for those in their productive years. In fact, mitigating the risks of illness, accidents, and even death should be prepared early.
Those risks can shake financial health and hinder future plans, given that medical treatment requires significant funds. Moreover, such unforeseen events may affect the welfare of the family.
Buying life insurance can also help prevent bankruptcy at a young age. With health insurance, there is less worry about the high cost of hospital treatment. Furthermore, health care costs can rise by 10% to 15% annually.
To discuss the importance of life insurance, the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) together with CNBC Indonesia presents Insurance Class. This session is part of Jogja Financial Festival 2026 to be held on 22-23 May 2026 at Jogja Expo Center (JEC), Yogyakarta.
Insurance Class features speakers: Head of the Insurance and Supporting Services Supervision Department of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Sumarjono; Head of Cooperation with Domestic and International Regulators, Stakeholders and Regime, Indonesia Life Insurance Association (AAJI) Handojo G. Kusuma; and Chief Executive Officer of Indonesia Financial Group (IFG) Hexana Tri Sasongko.
In this event, financial education classes are conducted exclusively so participants can gain financial knowledge and investment tips that could shape their future options. Insurance Class is also supported by the Financial Services Authority, the Indonesia Life Insurance Association, and Indonesia Financial Group.
Additionally, on the festival’s second day, there will be an Educational Class with ANTAM on the theme “Glow Up Finansial: Mulai dari Emas!”, an Educational Class with BNI, and an Educational Class with Bank Mandiri.
