Yokohama's Philippine plant

MANILA (Reuter): Yokohama Rubber Co Ltd of Japan is set to
build a manufacturing plant inside a freeport in the Philippines,
freeport administrator Clark Development Corp said on Saturday.

The proposed plant is estimated to cost 2.3 billion pesos and
would produce 5,000 tires a day.

The groundbreaking of the 15-hectare plant is scheduled on
June 15.
