Yogyakarta Weather Forecast Today: Sunny at Indrayanti and Parangtritis Beaches

BMKG Yogyakarta has released the weather forecast for the region on Friday, 29 May 2026. No rainfall is expected across the entire area today, with sunny conditions predicted throughout the day even in the southern coastal regions.

Yogyakarta City

According to BMKG Yogyakarta’s official Instagram account @infobmkgyia, no rain is forecast for any part of Yogyakarta City today. The weather is expected to be sunny to partly cloudy all day.

Sleman

All areas of Sleman are also predicted to remain dry today, with partly cloudy skies throughout. This includes the Prambanan Temple area and surrounding regions, as well as Kaliurang and the slopes of Mount Merapi, specifically the districts of Pakem, Turi, and Cangkringan.

Bantul

No rain is expected in Bantul today, with sunny to partly cloudy conditions forecast for the entire day. This includes all coastal tourist areas such as Parangtritis Beach.

Kulon Progo

All areas of Kulon Progo are expected to have no rain today, including the Menoreh Hills, coastal regions, and Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA). The weather is predicted to be partly cloudy throughout.

Gunungkidul

No rainfall is anticipated across Gunungkidul today, with sunny conditions forecast for the entire day. This includes all coastal tourist areas such as Indrayanti Beach.
