Yogyakarta Weather Forecast Today: Partly Cloudy All Day

The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) for the Yogyakarta Special Region has issued today’s weather forecast for Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Most areas are expected to remain dry with sunny and cloudy conditions throughout the day.

Yogyakarta City

According to BMKG DIY’s official Instagram @infobmkgyia, no rain is expected across the city today. The weather is forecast to be sunny with cloud cover all day.

Sleman

All areas of Sleman are also predicted to have no rain, with sunny and cloudy conditions throughout the day, including the Prambanan Temple area. However, in Kaliurang and the slopes of Mount Merapi, covering the sub-districts of Pakem, Turi, and Cangkringan, there is a possibility of light rain in the afternoon.

Bantul

Bantul region will experience no rain today, with sunny and cloudy weather expected all day, including coastal tourist spots such as Parangtritis Beach.

Kulon Progo

Parts of Kulon Progo will remain dry, including the Menoreh Hills, coastal areas, and Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA), with sunny and cloudy conditions throughout the day.

Gunungkidul

Parts of Gunungkidul will also stay dry, with sunny and cloudy weather expected all day, including popular beaches like Indrayanti Beach.
