Yogyakarta out to defend title

JAKARTA (JP): Southeast Asian Games gold medalists will lead
defending champion Yogyakarta in the national track cycling
championships at the Rawamangun Velodrome, East Jakarta, from
April 19 to April 21.

Nurhayati and her sister Nuraini and Alvi Dwiningrum will make
up Yogyakarta's women's team, while Ronny Yahya, M. Basri, Dadang
Haris Purnomo, Sulistiono and Pedro del Rochman form the men's
squad.

A total of 20 provincial teams have confirmed their
participation in the Rp 7.5 million (US$3260) event, organized by
the Jakarta sports journalist association.

Anyone breaking the national record will receive a bonus of Rp
1 million from the re-elected chairman of the Indonesian Cycling
Association Harry Sapto Supoyo. (05)
