Yogyakarta hosts Supercross race

JAKARTA (JP): Yogyakarta will host the Bentoel International
Supercross `94 featuring 56 international as well as around 16
domestic motor crossers at the Mandala Krida stadium on Sept.3
and 4 an official said.

"The one-day event will feature junior 80cc, international
125cc, master 250cc and the 50cc numbers for the under ten-year
old contenders," said Bob Nasution, executive chairman of the
Indonesian Association of Motor Sports (IMI).

Bob was quoted as saying by Antara yesterday that the
international crossers come from Australia, New Zealand, United
States, Japan and the Philippines.

He also added that a 850- meter circuit will be built at the
Mandala Krida stadium for the event.

"We will also feature laser shows and fireworks," Bob said.
