PT Dong Yong has successfully exported 417 cartons of wigs to the United States on Friday (17/4/2026). This export records foreign exchange value of Rp 2.2 billion, while also providing a tangible contribution to the national economy. The Head of Yogyakarta Customs Office, Imam Sarjono, stated that the exported wigs are the result of an export-oriented manufacturing industry that has met international quality standards. “This export success shows that Indonesian products are not only able to compete in terms of price but also quality in the global market,” he said. According to Imam, the realisation of this export is inseparable from the synergy between business actors and the government in creating a conducive export ecosystem. Customs provides services through simplified customs procedures, accelerated services, and ongoing assistance to exporters. In addition to contributing foreign exchange, this export activity also has a positive impact on employment absorption and strengthening the local industrial sector, particularly in the field of wig products that have a wide market abroad. In the future, it is hoped that more business actors will be encouraged to penetrate the export market and bring Indonesia’s flagship products to the world stage.
