Prabowo attends Eid al-Adha prayers with Indonesian diaspora in Paris

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto performed Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, France, alongside the Indonesian diaspora to commemorate the sacrificial holiday and strengthen ties with citizens abroad.

The prayer service was conducted solemnly, with Indonesian citizens and diaspora members filling the embassy premises from early morning to join the national leader in congregational worship.

Gibran and family attend Eid al-Adha prayers at Istiqlal Mosque

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming performed Eid al-Adha prayers on Wednesday at Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque with his son, Jan Ethes Srinarendra.

According to ANTARA’s observation at Istiqlal Mosque, Gibran arrived at approximately 6:51 am WIB wearing green attire, matching his son’s outfit.

The Eid prayers commenced around 7:00 am, shortly after Gibran and his family’s arrival.

Prabowo’s sacrificial cattle distribution part of presidential aid

President Prabowo Subianto’s distribution of sacrificial cattle this Eid al-Adha forms part of the longstanding Presidential Social Assistance (Banpres) programme.

This was noted by Indonesian diaspora member Ida Digong following Wednesday’s Eid al-Adha prayers at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris.

1,098 premium local cattle for Prabowo’s sacrificial distribution

President Prabowo Subianto distributed 1,098 sacrificial cattle for Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, all sourced from local farmers and comprising premium breeds weighing between 800kg and 1.3 tonnes.

Deputy Minister Juri Ardiantoro stated the cattle included Simmental, Limousin, Peranakan Ongole, Brahman, Angus, Bali cattle, FH, Belgian Blue, and Charolais breeds.

“All cattle sources are from local farmers, and this initiative is expected to boost their productivity and quality,” Ardiantoro said in a press statement at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.
