President Prabowo Subianto chaired a limited meeting (ratas) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday, discussing the acceleration of the construction of the giant sea wall along the north coast (Pantura) of Java Island.
Head of the North Java Coast Management Authority (BOPPJ) Rear Admiral TNI (Ret.) Didit Herdiawan Ashaf, when met after the meeting, explained that the meeting delved into construction plans.
“It is still in the planning stage and we will delve deeper into activities related to construction,” he said in response to reporters’ questions.

Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI Sufmi Dasco Ahmad chaired the plenary meeting of the DPR Legislation Body, which approved the Domestic Workers Protection Bill (RUU PPRT) to be brought to the plenary session as discussions have been completed.
“Next, we request approval from the meeting on whether the results of the discussion on the Domestic Workers Protection Bill can be processed further in accordance with the legislative process,” said Dasco, which was agreed to by members of the DPR Legislation Body at the parliamentary complex in Jakarta on Monday.
The first-level decision was made after all political party factions expressed their respective views and approval of the Domestic Workers Protection Bill.

Head of TNI AL Information Service (Kadispenal) First Admiral TNI Tunggul stated that the ship belonging to the United States crossing the Malacca Strait was only conducting transit or Transit Passage Rights.
