“The examination took place at the KPK’s Merah Putih Building in Jakarta, for SEP, in his capacity as Director of Coal Business Development at the ESDM Ministry,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to journalists in Jakarta on Monday.

Supreme Court requests additional budget of Rp10.3 trillion for 2027

The Supreme Court (MA) has proposed an additional budget of Rp10.303 trillion for 2027, beyond the indicative ceiling of Rp16.959 trillion, to meet operational needs for the judiciary and the implementation of priority programmes.

“Although we have obtained an indicative ceiling of Rp16.959 trillion, the MA’s real needs are still far greater. Based on the results of the 2027 budget requirement calculation, the MA still requires an additional budget of Rp10.303 trillion,” said MA Secretary Sugiyanto during a working meeting with Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives in Jakarta on Monday.

Sugiyanto explained that the MA’s indicative ceiling for 2027 of Rp16.959 trillion consists of a management support programme amounting to Rp16.78 trillion and a law enforcement and legal services programme amounting to Rp176.42 billion.

Attorney General’s Office proposes additional budget of Rp28.151 trillion for 2027

The Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia has proposed an additional budget of Rp28.151 trillion for 2027, on top of the total indicative ceiling set by the Ministry of Finance and Bappenas of Rp15.495 trillion.

“The indicative allocation amount for 2027 does not yet meet the ideal needs of the Attorney General’s Office, which is Rp43.65 trillion,” said Junior Attorney General for Development at the Indonesian Attorney General’s Office, Hendro Dewanto, during a meeting with Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives in Jakarta, Monday.

Hendro explained that the proposed additional budget would be allocated to support the execution of the Attorney General’s Office’s duties and functions, namely the law enforcement and legal services programme (Rp11.388 trillion) and the management support programme (Rp16.763 trillion).

Husband suspected of murdering wife in Makassar, perpetrator arrested by police

Police officers arrested a man with the initials SHM (21) suspected of murdering his wife, AN (24), with a knife at their rented house on Jalan Mannuruki VI, Lorong 1, Tamalate District, Makassar, South Sulawesi.

“The perpetrator has been detained. The evidence includes a knife suspected to have been used by the perpetrator, a mobile phone, and the victim’s clothing,” said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of Tamalate Police Sector, Iptu Abdul Latif, in Makassar early Monday.

Latif explained that the case came to light after police received a public report regarding a suspected murder at a rented stilt house on Jalan Mannuruki VI on Sunday (14/6) at around 21:30 WITA.
