- Riza Chalid’s son sentenced to 15 years in prison for corruption
The son of suspect Riza Chalid, Muhammad Kerry Andrianto Riza, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after being found guilty of corruption in the case of crude oil and refinery product management during the 2018-2023 period.
Chief Justice Fajar Kusuma Aji stated that Kerry had enriched himself by Rp2.9 trillion in the case, causing state financial losses of US$2.73 billion and Rp25.45 trillion.

- Riva Siahaan sentenced to 9 years in prison for corruption in the oil case
The President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga in 2023, Riva Siahaan, was sentenced to 9 years in prison after being found guilty of corruption in the case of crude oil and refinery product management during the 2018-2023 period.
Chief Justice Fajar Kusuma Aji stated that Riva was proven to be legally and convincingly guilty of participating in the act of corruption in the case, as in the primary indictment.

- Two defendants in the murder of Brigadier Nurhadi face eight and 14 years in prison
The prosecutor in the trial of the murder of Brigadier Muhammad Nurhadi requested that the panel of judges impose a sentence of eight years in prison on I Gde Aris Chandra Widianto and 14 years in prison on I Made Yogi Purusa Utama.
The prosecutor’s demand was delivered by the representative of the public prosecutor, Budi Mukhlis, in the agenda for each defendant before the panel of judges at the Mataram District Court, Thursday afternoon.

- KPK names a new suspect in the counterfeit goods case: a Kasi at Customs
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced that the Head of Section at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance, Budiman Bayu Prasojo (BBP), is a new suspect in the alleged bribery and gratification case regarding the import of counterfeit goods at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance.
“From the development of the investigation of this case, the KPK today (Thursday, 26/2) named a new suspect, namely Mr. BBP,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo at the KPK’s Red and White Building, Jakarta, Thursday.

- Director General of AHU says the child of DS, an LPDP alumni, is still an Indonesian citizen according to the law
The Director General of General Legal Administration (AHU), Widodo, said that the child of Dwi Sasetyaningtyas (DS), an alumni of the Indonesian Education Fund Management Agency (LPDP) scholarship, is still an Indonesian citizen (WNI) if referring to the principle of citizenship law.
Widodo explained that the UK, where DS resides, does not adhere to the ius soli system or automatic citizenship based on place of birth, so citizenship status is not automatically granted even if the child is born there.
