- KPK and Jakarta Provincial Government inaugurate Setiabudi Integritas Bus Stop
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), together with the Provincial Government of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta and PT Transjakarta, inaugurated the naming of the Setiabudi Integritas Bus Stop on Sunday. The naming of the Setiabudi Integritas Bus Stop is a collaboration between the KPK, the Jakarta Provincial Government, and PT Transjakarta aimed at expanding the campaign for integrity values in public spaces.
- House member urges police to immediately arrest perpetrator of confinement in Bandung
Member of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Abdullah urged the police to immediately arrest and legally process TH, a man suspected of involvement in a case of kidnapping, confinement, and torture lasting three years against YTR in Bandung, West Java. According to him, TH must be charged with multiple articles given the severity of the suffering endured by the victim. So far, the perpetrator is known to still be at large and the police are still hunting him.

The Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas) Yonif 511/DY distributed basic food packages to residents of Numbukawi Village, Malagai District, Lanny Jaya Regency, Papua Pegunungan. Malagai Post Commander of the Pamtas Task Force Yonif 511/DY, Infantry Captain Sena Nurjabbar, stated in a written release in Wamena on Sunday that this basic food assistance was distributed through the ‘TNI Berbagi Berkat’ (Indonesian Military Sharing Blessings) programme in the area of assignment.
- Zakiyuddin: Monitoring children’s gadgets is key to preventing drug abuse
Deputy Mayor of Medan Zakiyuddin Harahap reminded parents to increase supervision of their children’s use of gadgets to prevent exposure to and abuse of narcotics, which are increasingly targeting the younger generation through digital spaces. While attending an Art Performance for Al-Hikmah Educational Foundation’s junior and senior high schools in Medan on Saturday (20/6), Zakiyuddin emphasised that parental supervision is an important step to protect children from various threats in cyberspace.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded to the detention of Roy Suryo and Tifauzia Tyassuma (Doctor Tifa), urging all parties to follow the ongoing legal process and praying for the best for their health. ‘Yes, just follow the existing process and most importantly, we pray for the best for Mr Roy Suryo and Doctor Tifa, because yesterday I heard that both of them are being treated at the National Police Hospital,’ said Gibran when asked by journalists on the sidelines of his working visit in Asmat Regency, South Papua, on Sunday.
