The Main Health Quarantine Centre (BBKK) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Soetta), Tangerang, Banten, is intensifying surveillance on incoming air travellers from four countries in anticipation of potential hantavirus transmission cases.
“We are tightening surveillance on countries where the Hanta virus has already been identified or detected,” said the Head of BBKK Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Naning Nugrahini, in Tangerang on Tuesday.
- Purbaya: EV Incentives to Reduce Fuel Imports Amid High Global Oil Prices
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that incentives for electric vehicles (EVs) are being provided to curb fuel oil (BBM) imports amid forecasts of persistently high global oil prices in the coming months.
“It seems the war will drag on. That means our BBM consumption will remain high, and at higher prices. If I can shift it to electricity (through EV incentives), it will significantly reduce our imports (of BBM),” Purbaya said at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Tuesday.

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia assured that national energy stocks are secure after directly reporting supply readiness to President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.
“I reported to the President regarding our BBM readiness up to today, as well as LPG and crude; all are above the national minimum standards,” Bahlil said.

This was expressed by Rosan in response to reports that Danantara would acquire shares of French company Eramet in PT Weda Bay Nickel (WBN), North Maluku. According to him, Danantara is always ready to engage in strategic collaborations, including corporate actions.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka inspected the progress of the Integrated Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Phase 2A station construction from Harmoni to Sawah Besar, Jakarta, on Tuesday, to ensure MRT operations proceed on schedule by the end of 2027 for the Bundaran HI-Monas route.
“This is a collaborative project between the central and regional governments. Overall, the Director reported that construction progress has reached 59 percent. By the end of 2027, HI-Monas will be connected and operational,” said Vice President Gibran during a briefing at the MRT Harmoni-Sawah Besar tunnel project site in Jakarta on Tuesday.
