Yesterday: Repatriation of Indonesian Body from Malaysia to Vocational Education Cooperation with China
The body of an Indonesian citizen from Aceh, Putri Hensy Aprilda (22), who was a murder victim in Selangor, Malaysia, has been repatriated to her hometown in Alur Manis Village, Rantau, Aceh Tamiang. “Alhamdulillah, the body has arrived and been handed over to the family,” said Senator Sudirman Haji Uma.
China’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Wang Lutong, stated that vocational education is a focus of bilateral cooperation in the education sector to help Indonesia develop its human resources. Speaking after the China-Indonesia Media and Think Tank Forum 2026 in Jakarta, Ambassador Wang mentioned that his party has communicated with various companies in China to support vocational training in Indonesia.
North Sumatra Governor Bobby Nasution supports the 11th North Sumatra Regional Scout Jamboree 2026, scheduled for 8–12 July at the Sibolangit Campground in Deli Serdang Regency. “This activity is expected to be attended by thousands of participants and visitors from various regions in North Sumatra,” said Bobby, who also serves as Chairman of the Regional Advisory Council for the Scout Movement.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is committed to improving health services for prospective Hajj pilgrims for next year’s season, particularly by tightening initial health checks before departure. “The health sector is the main focus we will evaluate and improve. We acknowledge that this year’s health services were not yet optimal, so next year must be better,” said Minister Mochamad Irfan Yusuf while welcoming Hajj pilgrims from Flight Group 20 BTH in Jambi.
A total of 352 Hajj pilgrims from Flight Group 14 of the Banjarmasin embarkation point, originating from South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan, arrived back in Indonesia. The Chairman of the Hajj Organising Committee for the Banjarmasin embarkation, H Eddy Khairani, confirmed the arrival of the pilgrims from Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency and Banjarmasin City at the Hajj dormitory in Banjarbaru.
