- Palace: Independence Day festivities held at 40 residential areas in Jakarta
Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said the government expanded the series of events marking the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence to 40 densely populated residential areas in Jakarta.
According to Prasetyo, the expansion was carried out so that the spirit of independence is not only felt by communities around Merdeka Palace and the National Monument, but also by residents in villages and densely populated settlements.
- House follows up presidential letter on sale of former KRI Ki Hajar Dewantara
The House of Representatives (DPR) is following up on a presidential letter (Surpres) requesting approval for the sale of state property in the form of one vessel, the former KRI Ki Hajar Dewantara.
Deputy Speaker of the House Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the presidential letter has been received by the House leadership and will be processed according to the applicable mechanism.
- House and government finalise PPPK teacher status to become civil servants
Deputy Speaker of the House Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the House and the government have finalised the status and number of teachers holding government employee with work agreement (PPPK) status who will have the opportunity to take part in the selection to become civil servants (PNS) in 2027.
The policy covers both part-time and full-time PPPK teachers, including madrasah teachers and kindergarten teachers.
- Defence Minister distributes 20 tonnes of logistical aid for NTT earthquake victims
Minister of Defence (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin distributed 20 tonnes of logistical aid for communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
The aid was transported using an A400M transport aircraft and includes tents, camp beds, ready-to-eat meals, liquid milk, medicines, blankets, mattresses, and other supporting equipment.
- Palace: PPPK teacher employment status transferred to central government
Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi said the employment status of teachers holding PPPK status will be transferred to become central government employees.
According to Prasetyo, part-time PPPK teachers will be appointed as full-time PPPK teachers, while full-time PPPK teachers will have the opportunity to take part in the selection to become civil servants in 2027.
