Jakarta (ANTARA) - Various legal news stories were reported by ANTARA on Tuesday (24/3), ranging from National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo’s message regarding the 2026 Lebaran return traffic to the suspect in the alleged hajj quota corruption case, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, returning to KPK detention.

- Police Chief Requests Subordinates to Provide Best Services During Return Period
National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo has requested his subordinates to provide the best services to the public during the 2026 Lebaran return period.
Quoted from an official statement, Sigit at the ITDC Command Centre in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Tuesday, stated that the peak of the 2026 Lebaran return traffic is predicted to occur on 24 March 2026.
Nevertheless, it is estimated that the number of returnees will disperse until Friday (27/3) in line with the implementation of the work from anywhere (WFA) policy.
- Police Chief and Three Ministers Open National One-Way Route from Kalikangkung
National Police Chief General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, together with three ministers, opened the one-way route or one way for the 2026 Lebaran return traffic starting from the Kalikangkung Toll Gate (GT) in Semarang, Central Java, on Tuesday.
The three ministers who participated in opening the one-way route were Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi, and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin.

Suspect in the alleged hajj quota corruption case and former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, upon arriving at the Red and White Building of the KPK in Jakarta on Tuesday, expressed gratitude for being able to celebrate Eid at home, not in state detention or rutan.
“Alhamdulillah, I could pay respects to my mother, to my mum,” said Yaqut at the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta.

The KPK has revealed the reason for returning former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas to state detention or rutan after the suspect in the alleged hajj quota corruption case was placed under house arrest.
“First, because tomorrow there is already a scheduled request for information from the person concerned,” said Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
- KPK Announces Health Examination Results for Yaqut: Suffers from Acute GERD
The KPK has announced the results of the health examination for suspect in the alleged hajj quota corruption case and former Minister of Religious Affairs Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, namely suffering from acute GERD, which became one of the considerations in approving the transfer of detention to house arrest.
“We inform that one of the results of the health assessment is that the person concerned suffers from acute GERD, and has undergone endoscopy and colonoscopy,” said Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at the KPK Red and White Building in Jakarta on Tuesday.
