- Minister Bahlil postpones mining royalty implementation
The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, has postponed the implementation of mining royalties for copper, tin, nickel, gold, and silver commodities to develop a better formula.
“After hearing input from the public and business colleagues, I will put this on hold to build a good formula that is mutually beneficial,” Bahlil said when met at the Ministry of ESDM office in Jakarta on Monday.
- Danantara and local governments sign MoU to accelerate PSEL development in six locations
The Investment Management Agency (BPI) Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara), through PT Danantara Investment Management, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with local governments to accelerate the development of environmentally friendly waste processing technology-based power generation (PSEL) in six locations.
“An MoU has just been signed between Danantara and local governments to accelerate PSEL development in six locations, namely Lampung, Serang, Medan, Semarang, Bogor-Depok, and Bekasi Regency,” said Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan at Graha Mandiri, Jakarta, on Monday.
- Purbaya assures KDMP salary payments will not add to state budget deficit
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has assured that salary payments for managers of the Village Red and White Cooperative (KDMP) will not increase the state budget (APBN) deficit.
Purbaya, in a media briefing at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Monday, explained that the KDMP manager salary payment scheme will be implemented gradually, with funding sources for the first two years coming from the APBN.
- Minister Bahlil proposes ASEAN build oil storage hub in Indonesia
Energy and Mineral Resources Minister (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia has proposed that Indonesia serve as the location for building an oil reserve storage hub for ASEAN countries.
“We will build storage wherever, but yesterday I offered it to be in Indonesia,” Bahlil said when met at the Ministry of ESDM office in Jakarta on Monday.
- Finance Minister Purbaya assures no re-examination of tax amnesty participants
Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa has assured that there will be no re-examination of assets already declared by taxpayers participating in the Voluntary Disclosure Programme (PPS) or Tax Amnesty Round II.
His statement aims to clarify information regarding examinations of PPS participants previously conveyed by the Director General of Taxation, Bimo Wijayanto.
“Basically, what has been tax amnestied will not be dug into what has already been registered. Going forward, they just need to pay according to their business as usual, normal business developments,” Purbaya said in a media briefing at the Ministry of Finance office in Jakarta on Monday.
