Indonesian and Belarusian business actors agreed on business commitments through five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with a total value of IDR 7 trillion during the 8th Indonesia-Belarus Joint Commission Meeting in Minsk, Belarus.
“The agreements reached in this Joint Commission Meeting must be translated into concrete steps that have a direct impact on improving economic relations between Indonesia and Belarus,” said Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Airlangga Hartarto, in an official statement received in Jakarta, Friday.

- KCIC: 53,000 Whoosh Tickets Sold During the Long Holiday Period
PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) said that as many as 53,000 Whoosh high-speed train tickets have been sold during the long Ascension of Jesus Christ holiday period from 13-17 May 2026.
“The number of passengers will continue to increase in the coming days until the end of the long weekend. The public is advised to immediately purchase tickets online before arriving at the station,” said KCIC Corporate Secretary General Manager Eva Chairunisa in Bandung, West Java, Friday.

- Indonesia Strengthens Trade Cooperation with Russia
Deputy Minister of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, Dyah Roro Esti, reaffirmed Indonesia’s commitment to continue strengthening strategic cooperation with Russia, especially in the trade and economic sectors of the two countries.
According to her, in a statement in Jakarta, Friday, trade relations between Indonesia and Russia continue to show a positive trend.

The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) said that the Russian oil and gas company, Zarubezhneft, will continue working on the Tuna Block in June, after it was temporarily postponed due to the withdrawal of Harbour Energy.
“We met with Zarubezhneft and discussed the continuation of the Tuna Block project which had been delayed. Zarubezhneft expressed its commitment to continuing the project in June,” said Deputy Minister of ESDM Yuliot in an official statement confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta, Friday.
