Yesterday: From factory worker daycare to BPKH job openings
The Ministry of Population and Family Development (Kemendukbangga)/BKKBN has introduced Taman Asuh Sayang Anak (Tamasya), a safe daycare facility with certified caregivers, to support factory workers in Bantul, Yogyakarta. Minister Wihaji stated that there was a demand from workers for every corporation or company with many employees to provide a daycare, which the ministry calls Tamasya. He explained that as an assistant to the President, he was tasked with translating this demand and coordinating with various parties, including relevant ministries.
Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto has urged universities and scientists to support the acceleration of various national priority programmes through strategic cross-ministerial research collaboration. The main goal, he said, is to strengthen collaboration between the government, universities, the business sector, industry, and the community so that science truly becomes a force in national development.

The Ministry of Health has warned that the misuse of certain medications can cause serious health impacts and risks becoming a gateway to other drug abuse. The ministry supports collaborative and comprehensive education and prevention efforts regarding the misuse of over-the-counter drugs. Director of Health Services for Vulnerable Groups Imran Pambudi noted that the ministry has prepared a rehabilitation service network through 1,494 health facilities across 35 provinces, but stressed that preventing young people from falling into misuse in the first place is more important.
