Yesterday: 1,256 Nutrition Service Units in Eastern Indonesia Temporarily Halted - KIP Based on DTSEN
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Several interesting news items from Tuesday (31/3) can be revisited, from the temporary suspension of 1,256 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) without wastewater treatment plants (IPAL) and Hygiene Sanitation Certificates (SLHS) in eastern Indonesia to the distribution of KIP Kuliah now using DTSEN.
1.) 1,256 SPPG without IPAL and SLHS in Eastern Indonesia Temporarily Halted
The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has once again taken firm action by temporarily suspending operations of 1,256 Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in eastern Indonesia effective from 1 April 2026.
Rudi Setiawan, Director of Regional Monitoring and Supervision III at BGN, stated that the measure was taken because the SPPG have not registered for Hygiene Sanitation Certificates (SLHS) and do not have Wastewater Treatment Installations (IPAL).
2.) Health Ministry Issues Circular on Measles Vigilance to Protect Healthcare Workers
The Ministry of Health has issued a circular on vigilance against measles for medical and healthcare personnel to anticipate transmission and the increase in measles cases, particularly among medical and health workers.
“This circular has been widely distributed to the public, especially to medical and healthcare personnel throughout Indonesia,” said Acting Director General of Disease Control and Prevention at the Ministry of Health, Andri Saguni, in Jakarta on Tuesday.
3.) Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology: KIP Kuliah Distribution Now Uses DTSEN
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek) stated that the distribution of the Indonesia Smart Card for Higher Education (KIP-K) programme this year will officially use the National Single Social and Economic Data (DTSEN) to ensure more targeted delivery.
“This year we will already be using DTSEN, which combines data from three sources. So the hope is, as mentioned at the beginning, that our distribution will be more targeted,” said Acting Head of the Centre for Higher Education Financing and Assessment (PPAPT) at Kemdiktisaintek, Sandro Mihradi, during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
4.) Committee to Announce 2026 SNBP Results This Afternoon at 3:00 PM WIB
The National Selection Committee for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) 2026 will announce the results of the Achievement-Based National Selection (SNBP) for 2026 today, Tuesday, 31 March 2026, starting at 3:00 PM WIB.
Eduart Wolok, General Chair of the 2026 SNPMB Responsible Team, revealed during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday that SNPMB 2026 is participated in by 146 public higher education institutions, consisting of 76 State Universities (PTN) and 26 State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) as Academic PTN, as well as 44 State Polytechnics as Vocational PTN.
5.) Unpad Clarifies QR System for Campus Access After Ojol Protest
Padjadjaran University (Unpad) has provided clarification regarding the QR Code-based gate system policy that came under scrutiny following a protest by online motorcycle taxi drivers (ojol) at the Jatinangor Campus on Tuesday (31/3).
Dandi Supriadi, Head of Public Communication Office at Unpad, in Sumedang on Tuesday, explained that the system has been implemented through the Saunpad application to enhance security, order, and vehicle access control on campus.
