YESIST12 2026 Launched! UNM Invites Young People to Showcase Innovations on the Global Stage
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – A golden opportunity for Indonesia’s young generation to showcase their innovative ideas on an international level has reopened. YESIST12 (Youth Entrepreneurship and Smart Innovation Summit & Technology) 2026 has officially opened registration for students to young professionals with creative concepts and innovative solutions for the future.
This international-scale innovation competition serves as a platform for participants to develop ideas, proposals, or prototypes that can deliver real impact to society. Through this programme, young innovators are encouraged to boldly participate and compete at a global level.
YESIST12 Indonesia is held with the support of Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNKM) as a Digital Business Campus, which continuously fosters the emergence of innovative young talents in technology, entrepreneurship, and digital-based solutions. UNM serves as the host for this year’s YESIST12 organisation.
Participants can select various competition categories based on their interests and fields of innovation. Some of the tracks available include Innovation Challenge Track, MakerFair Track, WePOWER Track, iENGAGE Track, Special Track, and Junior Einstein Track.
The YESIST12 2026 timeline begins with the registration phase from 23 February to 4 April 2026.
Subsequently, the national selection and judging process will take place from 6-17 April 2026, with the announcement of national winners on 24 April 2026. The national winners will then proceed to the international competition from 27-30 April 2026.
The competition also offers total prizes of thousands of US dollars along with international certificates that can add value to participants.
The first-place winner receives a prize of 1,000 US dollars, a special award of 500 US dollars, and the runner-up 250 US dollars. In addition to prizes, participants have the chance to expand their global network with innovators from various countries.
Rector of Universitas Nusa Mandiri (UNM), Prof Dr Dwiza Riana, explained that YESIST12 is an important momentum for Indonesia’s young generation to demonstrate their creativity and innovation capabilities on the international stage.
“YESIST12 is not just a competition; it is also a space for the young generation to boldly present innovative solutions to various global challenges,” she said in a statement reported on Monday (30/3/2026).
She added that UNM, as a Digital Business Campus, strongly supports the birth of young Indonesian innovators who can compete and collaborate at the international level.
She also invited students, university students, to young professionals not to hesitate to join this competition and channel their creative ideas.
“We invite the young generation to take advantage of this opportunity. If you have an innovative idea that can bring change, YESIST12 is the right stage to show it to the world,” she added.
