Yamaha deploys 130 service centres and two posts during Eid holiday exodus
PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Manufacturing (YIMM) is deploying approximately 130 service centres and two dedicated service posts during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus.
During an iftar gathering in Jakarta on Friday, Hendra, Service Manager at YIMM, stated that the company is mobilising some 130 service centres across various regions of Indonesia from 16 to 22 March 2026 to serve customers undertaking long-distance travel during the holiday period.
“We want to ensure customers feel safe and comfortable during their holiday journeys. Our network of authorised service centres on major routes will continue operating, with some remaining open until late evening,” he said.
Additionally, Yamaha is establishing two service posts at Ciwandan Port in Banten and Ketapang in Banyuwangi, operating from 13 to 20 March 2026 to support customers travelling during the exodus.
Hendra explained that the service posts are strategically located at entry and exit points from Java to manage anticipated traffic congestion.
The company is also implementing promotional service programmes for customers during the Eid holiday period. Yamaha is offering Rp10,000 cashback in electronic credit for every engine oil purchase, available without a lottery mechanism. Customers need only register through the official Yamaha promotion website or present an already-registered account.
Yamaha is providing an additional 20 per cent discount on select component purchases during March 2026. Following the holiday period, the company will offer Rp25,000 credit for customers using services at Yamaha’s authorised service network.
Hendra noted that all information regarding the company’s holiday programmes and services can be accessed through the MyYamaha application. The application is equipped with an E-KSG feature—an electronic service record—to help customers maintain a log of their vehicle maintenance history.
“This means wherever customers travel, as long as they use Yamaha’s official network, they can redeem these promotions with us,” Hendra said.
