YABN Produces Young Entrepreneurs Through Rocket Acceleration 2026 Scholarship Programme
Yayasan Amanah Bangun Negeri (YABN) is promoting capacity development and independence among young entrepreneurs through the Rocket Acceleration YABN 2026 Scholarship Programme. The programme is run in collaboration with Sandination Academy, under the auspices of Yayasan Indonesia Setara, and Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in South Kalimantan.
After completing a six-month Zero to Hero Incubation phase from February to July 2026, 24 participants successfully finished the full series of intensive entrepreneurship learning, training and mentoring. The graduation ceremony at Rocketpreneur’s Day 2026 was marked by the presentation of graduation certificates to the participants.
A total of 24 business brands from various types of enterprises were developed by the programme participants. They are alumni recipients of the Indonesia Bright Future Leaders (IBFL) scholarship and active ULM students who met the requirements.
Chair of the Yayasan Amanah Bangun Negeri board, Zuraida Murdia Hamdie, said the programme’s success is not only when participants become entrepreneurs, but when they can grow their businesses, create jobs and deliver a wider impact.
“Therefore, today’s event is not the end, but the beginning of continuing to develop and mentor them. I want to one day hear that the alumni have not only succeeded as leaders in government or corporations, but also say that they have built businesses with large turnover and provided benefits to many people. That is one of our goals: how Adaro, together with its partners, can help produce entrepreneurs from the areas around its operations,” she said.
The Rocket Acceleration YABN 2026 Scholarship Programme is grounded in the spirit of sustainability from the IBFL scholarship programme through post-scholarship development. The programme serves as a follow-up stage that no longer focuses on education cost support, but on strengthening capacity and creating young entrepreneurs (student and alumni entrepreneurs) who are independent, competitive, sustainable and able to deliver wider impact and benefits to society.
Rector of Lambung Mangkurat University, Ahmad Alim Bachri, said Rocketpreneur’s Day is a golden opportunity for ULM to further strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit among students. He appreciated the various innovations developed by ULM students in the programme, especially because a number of businesses promote the potential and local products of South Kalimantan.
According to him, this shows that students have the ability to develop regional potential into business opportunities with economic value. “We want students to have not only academic ability, but also the character and courage to become entrepreneurs who can create innovation and provide solutions for society,” he said.
The Rocketpreneur’s Day 2026 series was also attended by the founder of Sandination Academy and Yayasan Indonesia Setara, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno. He contributed to developing the participants’ entrepreneurial capacity and insight by delivering a Business Insights public lecture, offering practical perspectives to equip them in developing their businesses.
Sandiaga said Rocketpreneur’s Day 2026 is a space of appreciation for young entrepreneurs who have innovation and potential to grow their businesses, not only in South Kalimantan but also at national level.
“I hope they continue to innovate, adapt and, no less importantly, build collaboration. The measure of business success is not only about seeking profit, but also about delivering impact through three aspects: people, planet and prosperity. A business must be able to provide benefits to society, maintain environmental sustainability and create welfare,” Sandi said.
On this occasion, Sandiaga, together with other judges including YABN chair Zuraida Murdia Hamdie, director of the ULM Technology Business Incubator Susi Apriana, and entrepreneur Darmawan Jaya Setiawan, also tested and assessed several participants directly in a Business Pitching session.
The highlight of the event was the Rocket Acceleration 2026 Scholarship Awarding for the 11 best participants. They were divided into the Ignition category, awarded to Datangi Photobooth, Eavy Tech, Hampers by NH and Kriboz, as well as four ULM businesses: Muda Berkarya, Sudut Rajut, Sugih Core and Xnotec.
Meanwhile, the Lift Off category was awarded to Bimbingan Belajar Bunga, Donatpia and Dimsumy. These award recipients will enter the acceleration stage together with the best participants of other Rocket programmes.
Rocketpreneur’s Day 2026 was a moment to observe the journey of the Rocket Acceleration Scholarship participants, while opening space for them to continue developing through learning, sharing experiences, networking and receiving direct feedback from practitioners. Through this series, participants are expected to be better prepared to take their businesses to the next stage with stronger strategies and capacity.
