Xpeng's After-Sales Network Expands into Central Java via Semarang
Xpeng Indonesia, the Chinese brand under the auspices of Erajaya Active Lifestyle, has officially opened its first Xpeng Experience & Service Center in Central Java. The facility is located at Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Number 310, West Semarang, and was inaugurated on Tuesday. Built in collaboration with PT Automobil Jaya Abadi, the centre adopts a 3S concept, integrating Sales, Service, and Spare Parts in a single location. Semarang was chosen for its strategic position as a key economic and mobility hub in Central Java. The facility is expected to make it easier for consumers in Semarang and surrounding areas to access Xpeng electric vehicle products and after-sales services. Standing on a 652 square metre plot with a building area of 572 square metres, the centre provides vehicle consultation and purchasing services, test drives, and maintenance. After-sales support is backed by three service bays, service equipment, and technicians trained to Xpeng standards. At the facility, consumers can also view several Xpeng models, including the New Xpeng X9, Xpeng G6 Pro, and Xpeng G6 Pro AWD. In addition to routine maintenance, after-sales support includes an Emergency Call service to assist customers in urgent situations during travel. CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle Djohan Sutanto stated that the opening in Semarang is part of expanding Xpeng’s service reach in Indonesia. He noted that the facility is intended not only to introduce the products but also to provide integrated after-sales support for customers. ‘Together with PT Automobil Jaya Abadi, we want to ensure that customers can not only get to know and experience Xpeng technology but also receive integrated after-sales support for a comfortable and reliable ownership experience,’ said Djohan. Meanwhile, CEO of PT Automobil Jaya Abadi Johanes Handoko said the company is working to ensure the services in Semarang can support customer needs as well as the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in the region. ‘Through this facility, we hope to build customer trust while supporting the growth of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Semarang and its surroundings,’ Johanes stated.
