Xpeng wins three awards at IIMS 2026 exhibition

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automotive brand Xpeng won three prestigious awards at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, taking home the Best Premium MPV, Best Premium EV Sedan, and Best Booth IIMS 2026 categories.

“We are extremely proud of the three awards presented by IIMS 2026. This is a form of appreciation that is deeply meaningful for Xpeng Indonesia,” said Erajaya Active Lifestyle CEO Djohan Sutanto in a statement received in Jakarta on Friday.

“This achievement reflects our commitment to delivering premium electric vehicles with innovative technology for the Indonesian public,” he continued.

Sutanto explained that the Best Premium MPV award was given to the Xpeng X9. The premium electric MPV not only offers a futuristic design, but also delivers genuine cabin comfort that goes beyond mere marketing gimmicks.

Equipped with a wide range of features, the X9 MPV comes with a spacious cabin and smart technology that supports everyday driving comfort.

Meanwhile, The Next Xpeng P7 was named Best Premium EV Sedan, in recognition of its innovative aerodynamic design and the forward-looking technology development embodied in the model.

It was not only Xpeng’s flagship vehicles that received recognition — the brand’s 651-square-metre exhibition stand also caught the attention of IIMS organisers for special appraisal.

At IIMS 2026, Xpeng’s stand was named Best Booth for presenting a concept that prioritised futuristic and interactive elements for visitors in person.

The Xpeng stand at IIMS 2026 was purposefully designed to provide an immersive experience, from exploring the electric vehicle line-up including the Xpeng X9 and Xpeng G6, to gaining a closer understanding of Xpeng’s smart technology, and envisioning the future mobility concepts being developed by the company.

At the exhibition, Xpeng also showcased a range of future technologies including The Next Xpeng P7, the IRON Humanoid Robot, and the Xpeng X2 Flying Car, which proved to be major attractions throughout the event.
