Xpeng Ultra-Fast Charging Technology: 80 Per Cent Charge in 12 Minutes
Jakarta — Xpeng Indonesia is exploring adding ultra-fast charging points across the country in 2026. At present there are two 480 kW charging sites available for Xpeng electric vehicles. The two locations are in Alam Sutra, Tangerang, in collaboration with Voltron, and in Gading Serpong, in partnership with Zora SPKLU Signature.
“Obviously we are not limiting ourselves to Voltron, but we recently collaborated with Zora SPKLU Signature,” Hari said in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March 2026.
He explained that Xpeng’s ultra-fast charging technology is still exclusive because not all electric vehicles can utilise it. He described that the technology enables a car’s battery to charge from 10 per cent to 80 per cent in around 12 minutes.
Going forward, Xpeng will continue to seek collaborations with various parties to expand the charging network, both through global and local partners. “So it’s about synergy. This accelerates and increases our contribution to the charging ecosystem. We can test together because we have the technology and capability (ultra-fast charging),” Hari said.
