XPENG Showcases Humanoid Robots and X2 Flying Car at GIIAS 2026
Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA) - XPENG Indonesia has brought its AI-based technology ecosystem to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, displaying the Next-Gen IRON humanoid robot and the XPENG X2 flying vehicle.
During the exhibition, which runs from 30 July to 9 August 2026 at ICE BSD City, XPENG also presented the XPENG GX next-generation mobility concept and The Next P7 smart sports car, completing the company’s Physical AI ecosystem.
Djohan Sutanto, CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle, stated that the company’s theme for this year’s GII.I.A.S is “Physical AI for All”. This reflects the application of artificial intelligence technology that extends beyond smart electric vehicles to become part of a future mobility ecosystem that is more connected, safe, and accessible.
“We want to demonstrate how AI-based technology is not only applied to smart electric vehicles but also serves as part of a future mobility ecosystem that is more connected, safe, and accessible. Moving forward, we will continue to expand our network, strengthen our services, and bring various global XPENG innovations to consumers in Indonesia,” Djohan said in a press release on Friday.
According to the company, the presence of the GX, The Next P7, Next-Gen IRON, and XPENG X2 represents a Physical AI Ecosystem that connects smart vehicles, robotics, autonomous mobility, and flying vehicles within a single ecosystem.
The Next P7 is the world’s first model to adopt Visual Language Action (VLA) and Visual Language Model (VLM) with direct in-vehicle processing. The car features computing capabilities of up to 2,250 TOPS, supported by an 800V electrical system with 5C batteries, dual-chamber air suspension, and Brembo brake calipers, with a claimed 0-100 km/h acceleration in approximately three seconds.
In addition to showcasing its AI ecosystem, XPENG also introduced the New X9, its flagship premium MPV in Indonesia, featuring updates to design, comfort, performance, and driving technology. The MPV is built on an 800V Silicon Carbide platform with 5C batteries, enabling a 10-80 per cent charge in approximately 12 minutes and a range of up to 715 kilometres based on the NEDC standard for the Long Range variant.
XPENG further expanded its product lineup with the launch of the G6 Pro All-Wheel Drive (AWD). This premium electric SUV utilises an 800V Silicon Carbide platform and dual electric motors with a maximum power of 358 kW and 660 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 4.13 seconds, offering a range of up to 575 kilometres (NEDC).
Throughout GIIAS 2026, XPENG is also offering special sales programmes for the purchase of the G6 Pro and New X9, subject to terms and conditions.
