Xpeng Delivers 100 G6 Units to Customers and Invites a Brief Road Trip
Jakarta, KOMPAS.com – The electric vehicle (EV) market in Indonesia is growing more vibrant with the delivery of 100 XPENG G6 units to buyers in the country. This milestone marks XPENG Indonesia’s step to strengthen its presence in the national automotive market through smart electric vehicles. Under PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL) or Erajaya Active Lifestyle, the handover ceremony adopted a customer-centric experience concept. Erajaya Active Lifestyle CEO Djohan Sutanto said the delivery of 100 units reflects consumer trust in the vision of future mobility offered by XPENG.
“For us, this achievement is not just about the number of units handed over, but a reflection of customers’ trust in XPENG as part of their lifestyle and future mobility,” Djohan said in an official statement, Saturday (23/5/2026).
The group undertook a journey from Jakarta to the Summarecon Bogor Marketing Gallery to experience a seamless driving experience in supporting daily activities.
The opportunity to test the XPENG G6 Pro on the exclusive XJourney trip to Bogor was not wasted. The electric SUV, priced at around Rp 670 million, offers a unique driving sensation, particularly thanks to its array of sophisticated features.
For me, the experience of “interacting” with the G6 Pro began even before I stepped into the cabin. Before getting into the car, my smartphone was already connected to the vehicle’s system via the XPENG app. Practically, without needing to hold a physical remote, I could control several vehicle functions from a distance.
From unlocking the doors, lowering the windows, opening the boot, to turning on the air conditioning first. The latter feature is especially useful to dispel cabin heat before I enter after the car has been parked under the sun.
Not only that, the feature which I found most unique is Intelligent Parking Assistance. Through the mobile app, I could instruct the G6 Pro to move forwards and backwards within a tight parking space. Moreover, the car can perform remote parking, letting the system park the vehicle autonomously without a driver inside.
