Surakarta, CNBC Indonesia — XLSmart has said that its network integration is 96% complete. The company still has a number of areas to integrate, while its information technology (IT) systems for the network and customer services have been unified.

The integration of human resources has also been completed. All employees are now part of a single organisation, with functions and responsibilities assigned according to their respective fields.

XLSmart Director and Chief Regulatory Officer Merza Fachys said the company was now focused on completing the remaining integration of its internal business processes.

“Network integration is at 96%. That means there are only certain areas that have yet to be integrated. Ninety-six per cent is already one network; there are no longer two networks,” Merza said in Surakarta on Thursday (15 October 2026).

He explained that all IT systems related to the network and customer services had been integrated. The company still needs to complete several other internal processes.

“All the IT related to the network and customer services has been integrated. What remains is internal business processes and other matters. We expect those to be completed in the coming months,” Merza said.

Merza added that the integration of the workforce into a single organisation was also complete. This differed from the early stages of integration, when the company still operated two separate organisations.

“Human resources are now in one organisation, unlike in the early days when there were still two organisations. Now there is one organisation. Everyone has a role that matches their field,” he said.

He said most integration work had been completed in line with, or ahead of, the year-end target. Some tasks had been finished as early as the beginning or middle of last year.

“Almost everything has been completed on schedule, or even ahead of it. Our target was to have everything finished by the end of the year, but some things were completed at the beginning of the year, or even by the middle of last year,” he concluded.
