XLSMART: AI and Data are Key to Corporate Digital Transformation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk (XLSMART) believes that artificial intelligence (AI) and data integration have become primary necessities in the digital transformation of a company.
Andrijanto Muljono, Director & Chief Enterprise Business Officer of XLSMART, stated during a press conference at the BRAVO 500 Summit 2026 in Jakarta on Monday, that data and AI serve as both the foundation and the direction for the development of today’s digital ecosystem.
“AI has become an inevitability. Data is a massive element, and AI is also a significant factor that we must discuss,” said Andri.
According to him, the current digital ecosystem is supported by seven main pillars: data, devices, networks or connectivity, applications, cybersecurity, energy and infrastructure, and AI.
Andri explained that data is the most fundamental pillar because it serves as the basis for decision-making for both the government and corporations. Without accurate data, policies and business strategies run the risk of being misdirected. The digital activities of the public do not only result in data consumption but also create various new types of data, ranging from behavioural, transactional, and location data to user preferences.
On the other hand, AI is considered a technology that will play an increasingly significant role in various business processes; therefore, companies need to begin preparing for its optimal utilisation, supported by high-quality data. Andri emphasised that AI cannot produce good outputs without being supported by good data.
“If the data is inaccurate, the actions will also be inaccurate. Companies are the same; they use data. Therefore, data is a major factor, and AI is also a major factor that we must discuss,” he added.
In addition to data and AI, XLSMART also highlighted the importance of cybersecurity in digital transformation. According to Andri, Indonesia currently faces approximately 17 million cyberattacks every day, making the protection of data and digital systems an increasingly crucial necessity.
On the same occasion, XLSMART, through XLSMART for BUSINESS, revealed that it will host the BRAVO 500 Summit 2026 in Jakarta on 11 June. The event will also introduce ESTA Prime in an effort to accelerate national digital transformation through the utilisation of artificial intelligence (AI), data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and the wider and more even expansion of 5G networks.
The discussion forum, which is expected to host more than 2,000 corporate leaders, regulators, academics, and technology partners, aims to encourage the use of AI, data integration, IoT, and the expansion of 5G networks to accelerate national digital transformation.
