Xizang inaugurates first brain-computer interface clinical application centre
The first high-altitude clinical application centre for brain-computer interface (BCI) technology was inaugurated at Lhasa People’s Hospital in the Xizang Autonomous Region, China, on Thursday. The inauguration marks a significant step for the region in utilising cutting-edge technology to address difficult-to-treat neurological diseases. As a transformative human-computer interaction solution, BCI technology shows great potential in the field of neurological rehabilitation. This year, a medical aid team from Beijing Tiantan Hospital introduced BCI technology to the Xizang Autonomous Region, which will promote the application of advanced medical technology to benefit the people of Xizang.
